- Enjoy an urban range session to check on your swing just 2 minutes away from your hotel and with unlimited guatemalan beers.
- Dinner in Cayala at a local steakhouse. Always included: two Bottles of wine selected personally by Martin, golfer and sommelier as well, to pair with your meals.
- NO TEE TIMES AT LFG! So we Leave in the morning whenever you’re ready to grab breakfast at the first course.
- Classic yet beautifully designed, this course will challenge your tee shots with its high trees and narrow fairways.
- Located in an old convent from the XVI century, enjoy a 6724 yards(whites) par 72 with a 132 slope. Includes personal caddie, carts and cocktails by LFG!

- Small roadtrip to your fishing lodge located in a private residence in the mangrove forest on the pacific ocean. Welcome dinner by the pool.
- Early breakfast at 6am at the lodge, leaving for your 40ft private boat at 6:45am.
- Boat leaves around 7am and then enjoy an hour ride deep into the pacific ocean to go find some sailfish.
- Guatemala has the highest sailfish concentration in the world and don’t worry everything is catch and release to preserve the ocean!
- Back to shore at 5pm to enjoy the lodge’s poolside bar with ceviche.

How far are the golf courses?
Between 20 to 45 min drive.
Is safety an issue in Guatemala?
Not any different that any other part of the world, some areas are more dangerous than others but the itinerary is built around the least risky places only so no worries. Just watch your belongings like anywhere else.
Can I pay with American Express?
Yes but you will be charged in quetzals, Guatemala’s local currency at the daily exchange rate from Google’s currency convertor.
Why are flights not included?
Golfers probably travel from various locations and all have different loyalty programs, so we don’t want to impose anything on you. However, we will gladly look up and recommend the best flight depending on where you are coming from.
Can I play 36 holes everyday if I want to?
Yes if you have good golf etiquette and handle the bar cart responsibly 😉
What is included on the course? (caddies, Carts, drinks)
Personal caddie, up to 3 carts for the group, cocktails from Martin (1 bottle of licor per group) and 2 beers per person per round. Unlimited balls if you registered on our website.
I have never fished before can I still join?
Yes just relax and enjoy and catch your first sailfish!
What golf level is required?
Intermediate to advanced, not for beginners.
How many different courses will I play?
We guarantee two different golf courses.
Why can’t I choose arrival and departure days?
Your golf trip has been designed in such a way to be the most enjoyable as possible: with the least people on the course, as well as trying to avoid traffic in Guatemala which can be like LA.
What is the minimum and maximum group size?
Minimum 3 golfers, maximum 6 golfers.
We are 6 golfers, how do we split up the group?
You can all play together, yes for real! Otherwise you can split up as you wish.
Do I need to bring fishing equipment?
No everything is provided. Just keep in mind it is very warm and sunny out in the Pacific Ocean so bring light UPF clothing and sunglasses.
Is golf equipment provided?
NO, you need to bring all your equipment. We recommend travelling with a hard top case for your clubs.
What about tennis or squash?
We provide all equipment but feel free to bring yours if you prefer!
How is the weather like?
Guatemala is also known as the “land of eternal spring”, so you have mild tropical climate year round, ranging from 75F to 95F (23C to 35C).
Can we skip Fishing and do something else?
Yes, what about hiking an active volcano?! Special clothing required, gets colder while climbing.
We are golf addicts can we play one more day?
Yes, we can include a fourth day which would be Friday instead of going to Antigua.
What to pack?
Sunglasses, proper golf attire, light sweater for chilly mornings/nights, passport, any medicine you take on a daily basis, swimming suit, sport shoes (tennis/squash/gym), workout attire if you’re a gym addict, and everything else you normally travel with.
Is any travel insurance needed?
No, we will provide one for any inconvenience. Please note you might still need to pay for a percentage of treatments if anything were to happen.
What happens if I get sick during the trip?
As mentioned before, you will be covered no worries it can happen.
What if I don’t drink alcohol?
Unlimited softs and we will craft special mocktails for you.
Are courses walkable?
One of them is.
Which airlines do you recommend?
United Airlines or American Airlines.
Do I need a travel hard top case for my clubs?
Yes highly recommended.
